Introduction

Welcome to the Divine Word Companions' official website. We are a supporting group which comprises of Vietnamese Divine Word Missionaries and former seminarians, and all those who are interested in living out their Christian faith in the spirit of the Divine Word Missionaries.

In this group, we aim to support one another in every way we can to grow and live as true witnesses of the Divine Word. We also hope to accompany the Divine Word Missionaries Priests and Brothers in their mission, which is to preach the Good News to all people, especially where the Good News has not been heard.

With regard to our activities, since we are still at the developing stage, we hold one week-end retreat during the summer and one formal gathering around the Christmas time. Besides these two major events, the organizing members also meet together frequently to discuss and plan of how to reach out to those who are interested in joining this group. For the expenses of these activities, each member commits to contribute one hour-wage every quarter. It is optional amount of contribution for SVDs and current DWC students.

In this site, you will find variety of things, ranging from News of the group members here in the U.S to pictures and stories of the missionaries from aboard, from chat rooms to formal forums to discuss spiritual subjects and the related matters, and all the activities of the group. Please feel free to explore and enjoy.
